In ancient times the choices were minimal. The village was the world. By contrast, the present-day world is diverse, complex, fast-changing, and vibrant. Indeed, at every juncture one faces hundreds of choices – food, travel, friends, place of worship, books, teachers, profession, spouse, place to live, entertainment, and more.

In our modern times, knowledge is rapidly expanding through science. Healthcare has moved to evidence-based practice resulting in far superior outcomes. However, very little of science and best practices are incorporated in the choices we make in our lives.

Babies are not born with a user’s manual. Marriage does not come with a conflict resolution kit. Trial and error is still the current mode of operations.

Wouldn’t we be happier if we did have a guide to a happy, healthy, and compassionate living? This site aspires to be the handbook of life for people from all walks of life, diverse backgrounds, and differing faiths.
